The Heart Behind Heartmark

Heartmark was created by Margaret (Maggie) MeGehee, a lifelong animal advocate with a background in apparel manufacturing and product development.

Animals have always been a part of my life. I have loved them, rescued them, lost them and carried their memories with me long after they were gone.

Heartmark brings those two parts of my life together — my love for animals and my love for creating apparel.

Every design begins with the moments we remember: the rides, the walks, the favorite spots, the worn-out toys and all the little things that somehow stay with us.

Heartmark is for anyone who has ever loved an animal deeply and knows that they leave a mark that never really goes away.

Giving back is also part of Heartmark. Rescues, shelters and sanctuaries depend on financial support to continue the work they do every day. That’s why $5 from every Heartmark purchase goes directly to helping animal rescue.
